George Pennington III is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and bandleader native to Tampa, Florida. Both as a soloist and with his band, George has had ample professional opportunities to share his music on big stages. He has opened shows for Selwyn Birchwood, Roosevelt Collier, Dumpstaphunk, Neal Francis, the Gipsy Kings, the Experience Hendrix Concert Tour, and has been touring around the country since about 2018. He’s played the East Coast from Florida up to Maine and on the West Coast he’s brought his band into the legendary Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip. He’s jammed with world renowned bassists MonoNeon and Victor Wooten. He has been hired by music brands such as Peavey, Michael Kelly Guitars, Washburn, and Cort to showcase their new instruments and products online in social media videos and at the famous NAMM Conference in Southern California. His most recent studio album called “American Odyssey”, was self produced and mixed by William Anspach who is a GRAMMY award winning engineer who has credits with Killer Mike, Justin Bieber, and Frank Ocean. George has played large music festivals such as Suwannee Hulaween, Brainquility Music and Arts Festival, and also Gasparilla Music Festival. The core of George’s sound comes from the heavy and psychedelic blues rock tradition set by the likes of Hendrix, SRV, Jerry Cantrell, Jeff Beck, and Carlos Santana. With his bandmates, his music is an eclectic mix of everything from hard rock, to folk rock, to blues, to jazz fusion, to funk, and alternative rock. His compositions are often intricate and the musicians he regularly performs with are some of the finest in Tampa. Join us in the backyard for a beautiful evening of great music on Friday, February 27th from 7:00-10:00pm. This is a free show produced by the venue. Bring your friends and spread the word!

Join us in the Shuffle Yard with a Guinness, a shot of whiskey, maybe some bangers and mash, and belly up to the stage for a fantastic show with Paddy O' Furniture- Performing traditional Irish music along with bar band favorites.
